Department of Rural Development Successfully Concludes Special Campaign 6 with Significant Achievements in institutionalising Swachhata, reducing Pendency, improving Record Management and Optimising Office Space

The Department of Rural Development has successfully concluded the Special Campaign 6 during 2nd - 31st Oct. 2026. During the campaign, insurance coverage under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) have been extended to all contractual employees of the Department, including Safai Karamcharis. The entire premium cost for providing insurance coverage under both schemes has been borne by the Department.
