In a major step towards making land governance more transparent, accessible, and citizen-friendly, the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development is set to officially launch the Operational Guidelines for the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) 3.0 (2026-2031) on Thursday, 10 September 2026, at 6:30 PM.
Building on the success of earlier phases that achieved near-complete computerization of land records across the country, the upcoming DILRMP 3.0 will roll out as a Central Sector Scheme with an anticipated financial outlay of Rs. 565.50 Crore.
