India, April 14 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Adding a new chapter to the country's modern infrastructure development, today the Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, inaugurated the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor, built at a cost of Rs.12,000 crore, connecting Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari was present on the occasion. This 213-km-long, 6-lane, access-controlled, high-speed corridor will reduce travel time between Delhi and Dehradun from 6 hours to 3 hours and provide seamless connectivity between Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Shri Gadkari expressed his gratitude to the Honorable Prime Minister for this important corridor.
