Reflecting a positive response from the Central Government to accelerate the overall development of remote and tribal areas like Bastar, Union Minister for Rural Development, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has assured serious consideration of the Chhattisgarh Government's proposal. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai met Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today at Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi. The meeting positively discussed strengthening road connectivity in the Bastar region.
At the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Sai proposed amending the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY-IV) to consider a 10-kilometer radius as a cluster, ...
