India, April 1 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Currently 07 (seven) Central Forensic Science Laboratories (CFSLs) are existing in the country and are located at Chandigarh, Delhi, Kamrup (Assam), Kolkata (West Bengal), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Pune (Maharashtra), and Hyderabad (Telangana). Under the National Forensic Infrastructure Enhancement Scheme (NFIES) establishment of 07 new CFSLs have been approved in Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan at a total outlay of Rs.860.3 crore. So far,
