The Government approved the Centrally Sponsored Project for Computerisation of functional Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) on 29.06.2022 with the objective of bringing all functional PACS on a common ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)-based National Software and strengthening their operational efficiency, transparency and service delivery. The Project, initially approved for 63,000 PACS, has subsequently been expanded to 79,630 PACS with a revised total financial outlay of Rs.2,925.39 crore. Karnataka has total 5,894 sanctioned PACS, covered under this project. In last 3 years (2023-24 to 2025-26), Central assistance provided to Karnataka state has been 27.58 Crore....
