The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) conducted a special inspection of industries operating in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, on 15.09.2026, during which 22 industrial units were inspected, 16 were found non-compliant with applicable norms and Statutory Directions and 12 Show Cause Notices (SCNs) were issued.
The inspection drive was carried out by 7 Flying Squads of CAQM in coordination with the District Administration and concerned authorities. The inspections covered industrial areas of Masuri-Gulawati Road, Pilkhuwa, Ravali/Shekhpur/M.G. Road, Tatarpur/Garh Road, Railway Road/Textile Centre Road and Ravala/Shekhar.
