ANDHRA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON VENNA SRI RAMI REDDY V/S G. SAI PRASAD AND OTHERS

AMARAVATI, India, May 15 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on April 10:

1. The contempt case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for willful violation of the order of this Court dated 28.10.2024 passed in W.P.No.20951 of 2024.

2. Sri A.Tarun Kumar, learned counsel representing the learned counsel for the petitioner, requested to close the contempt case stating that no order is required in this contempt case since the order of this Court in the writ petition had been complied with.

3. Hence, the contempt case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
