ANDHRA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF PORT TRUST OF VISAKHAPATNAM V/S SHALIMAR WORKS 1980

AMARAVATI, India, May 18 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on April 16:

1. This appeal has been filed by the appellant/plaintiff, being aggrieved from the judgment and decree dated 31.10.2005 passed in O.S.No.49 of 2002 on the file of the VIII Additional District and Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court), Visakhapatnam.

2. Memo of proof of service filed, pursuant to the previous order, to take steps for service on the respondent. But, it appears that they have not taken any steps. Today, when the case is called, none appeared for the appellant.

3. The matter pertains to the year 2008 shown under the caption 'old matters'.

4. In view of the above, this Appeal Suit is dismissed for want of prosecution.
