ANDHRA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON GAMPALA CHINA BABU AND ANR. V/S H Y DORA, CHAIRMAN AND MANAGING DIRECTOR AND ORS.

AMARAVATI, India, April 3 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on March 2:

1. The contempt case has been filed for non-compliance with the Order dated 29.12.2017 passed in I.A.No.1 of 2017 in W.P.No.45134 of 2017.

2. When the matter was taken up, Mr.B.S.Shivaji, learned counsel for the petitioners, fairly submits that the main writ petition was dismissed as infructuous on 31.12.2025. In view of the disposal of the main writ petition, the petitioners are not inclined to pursue the present contempt proceedings against the respondents.

3. Accordingly, recording the above submission, the contempt case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, all pending applications shall stand closed.
