75% of Rural Habitations Covered with Sujal Gaon IDs under Jal Jeevan Mission Across States/UTs

The Sujal Gaon ID is a unique identification number assigned under the digital monitoring framework of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) 2.0 for water supply service area (habitation/s) meeting the prescribed standards and criteria under the Mission. The ID is issued through the national JJM digital platform and the details are communicated to the respective States/UTs through the JJM digital ecosystem. The objective of the Sujal Gaon ID is to facilitate systematic identification, monitoring, reporting, tracking and verification of water supply service area (habitation/s) achieving desired outcomes in rural drinking water service delivery and sustainability.
