India, Oct. 20 -- There was a time when leadership meant taking responsibility rather than focusing on performance. Today, it is theatre. It is blatantly obvious that globally, there are no exemplary leaders today. The world is ruled by men and women who present themselves as convincing and posture as strong. Nations are suffering under the weight of poor decisions, but their leaders are too busy defending their images to take action.

From Washington to Warsaw, leaders are enthroned not for their wisdom or integrity but for their ability to divide. Xenophobia, fear, and manufactured outrage have replaced vision. The majoritarian crowd is appeased, not led. And when the rage turns inward, the same leaders flee.
