Pope Leo XIV Honours Veteran Catholic Journalist and Author Ignatius Gonsalves with Papal Knighthood
India, Aug. 31 -- It was a moment of Magnificat for the Indian Catholic media fraternity when the Metropolitan Archbishop of Verapoly, the Most Rev. Joseph Kalathiparambil, solemnly announced the bestowing of one of the highest-ranking chivalric titles of the Church upon Ignatius Gonsalves, a veteran journalist, Church historian, media trainer, orator, author, champion of human rights and two-time president of the Indian Catholic Press Association.
