India, May 29 -- When Prime Minister Narendra Modi called upon schools across India to accelerate the shift to online learning in response to the current global crisis, the conversation across the country turned urgently to adaptation. How quickly can schools move? How ready are they?
There was no pivot. There was no emergency meeting. There was no hasty migration of offline classrooms into video call links. There was simply another school day for learners across 78 countries, in 500+ cities, learning exactly as they had been since June 2020.
