India, Aug. 16 -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday wished India on Independence Day and expressed his hope that New Delhi will l contribute to efforts aimed at ending the war.

"Congratulations to the people of India, President @rashtrapatibhvn , and Prime Minister @narendramodi on the Independence Day!" Zelenskyy posted on X.
