Mumbai/IBNS, Aug. 6 -- Swiggy shares surged more than 5 percent on Thursday after the company unveiled an ambitious five-year growth strategy at its Capital Markets Day 2026, according to media reports.

The stock rose nearly 5.6 percent during intraday trade to touch a high of Rs. 305.10.

Swiggy's five-year roadmap (FY2027-FY2031) aims to generate Rs. 10,000 crore in annual adjusted EBITDA by the financial year ending March 2031, marking a significant turnaround from its current loss-making position.

The company expects Instamart, its quick-commerce business, to be the primary growth driver over the next five years.
