India, April 29 -- An Indian national has been arrested in San Antonio, US, for allegedly assaulting a woman and her three-year-old girl in a park on April 18, officials said.
The family of the victim alleged that the attacker bit the toddler and knocked out two of her teeth, leaving her seriously injured.
As per the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the arrested person was identified as 24-year-old Atharva Vyas.
Her mother, Gabriella Perez, told the newspaper, "That brute was ravaging my baby!"
"She's terrified to sleep. She's lashing out, angry. She doesn't understand evil like this f-king man. She'll never be the same again," she said.
