Ghaziabad/IBNS, Feb. 28 -- Popular YouTuber and social media commentator Saleem Wastik is battling for life after being stabbed multiple times at his residence in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, media reports said.

Wastik, who publicly identifies as an ex-Muslim and is known for appearing on television debates, was attacked on February 27 at his office set up inside his residence in Ashok Vihar Colony.

Family members and locals immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital. Doctors later referred him to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Delhi after identifying the injuries as life-threatening.

Police reached the spot in the Ali Garden area after receiving a distress call through Dial 112 around 8 am.
