India, Oct. 15 -- Flour millers in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have warned they will launch a province-wide protest if the "unconstitutional" ban on the movement of wheat and flour from Punjab is not immediately lifted.

Speaking at a meeting held at the Chamber House, Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Junaid Altaf and Pakistan Flour Mills Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (PFMA-KP) Chairman Naeem Butt expressed serious concern over the restrictions imposed by the Punjab government, stating that the move has severely impacted the flour industry and trade in the province, reported The Nation.

Altaf said the policies that led to the closure of the industry must be abandoned.
