What began as a domestic dispute ended in six deaths in US: Iowa community in shock
India, June 2 -- At least six people were killed in a series of shootings across multiple locations in Muscatine, Iowa, US, in what authorities believe was a domestic-related incident, police said on Tuesday.
According to a statement posted on the City of Muscatine's official website, police are investigating a string of homicides that occurred on Monday, June 1, 2026, at several locations within the city.
The suspect, identified as 52-year-old Ryan Willis McFarland of Muscatine, had fled the residence before officers arrived.
A short time later, law enforcement officers located McFarland on the Riverfront Trail near the pedestrian bridge. He was found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
