India, Aug. 17 -- Promising that his country stands by the people of India, South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun has expressed solidarity with New Delhi over the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22 that left 26 people dead.

The terror attack left mostly tourists dead, an incident that left the world shocked.

Cho Hyun told ANI: "We are very stern and firm on this issue. We are strongly against any terrorist attack. We stand by the Indian government and the people of India."

As a response to the Pahalgam incident, India launched Operation Sindoor and hit several terror base camps located in the PoK and Pakistan.
