India, Sept. 23 -- The 13th edition of the India-Sri Lanka bilateral maritime exercise, SLINEX-26, concluded at Visakhapatnam on September 21.

Conducted from September 17 to 21, the exercise provided opportunities for professional interactions, the exchange of best practices and enhanced interoperability between the Indian Navy and the Sri Lanka Navy.

The harbour phase featured professional exchanges, cross-deck visits and sporting interactions between personnel of the two navies.

The sea phase involved coordinated maritime manoeuvres, air operations, night replenishment at sea and Special Forces drills, including Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) and slithering operations.
