New Delhi, June 7 -- Actor Vikrant Massey on Sunday urged children to spend less time on screens and take up outdoor activities during a World Bicycle Day cycling event in the national capital.

Massey joined Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and thousands of fitness enthusiasts at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium for a special edition of the Fit India Sundays on Cycle campaign.

Massey joined Mandaviya, boxer Nupur Sheoran and Kannada actor Ragini Dwivedi at the event, which drew more than 15,000 participants in Delhi.

Recalling his childhood, Massey said cycling on Sunday morning brought back memories of spending time outdoors with friends.
