India, May 13 -- Amid the latest controversy over the alleged leak of the NEET-UG 2026 question paper, Vijay on Wednesday renewed Tamil Nadu's long-standing demand to scrap the national medical entrance exam and allow states to admit students based on Class 12 marks.

In a sharp statement, the Chief Minister said repeated irregularities had exposed "serious structural flaws" in the all-India examination system and argued that the latest scandal was proof that NEET had failed to ensure fairness.
