India, Aug. 19 -- The alleged pressure over a Rs 20-lakh investment portfolio has emerged as a key financial angle in the CBI chargesheet into the death of Twisha Sharma, with investigators alleging that her husband, Samarth Singh, wanted her to transfer the money so it could be invested in the Chinese stock market, media reports said.
According to the chargesheet, Twisha held equity investments worth approximately Rs 20 lakh in a demat account.
The CBI alleges that after Samarth and his mother, Giribala Singh, learned about the investments, they pressured Twisha to transfer the money.
