India, Feb. 7 -- A young woman in Uttar Pradesh's Banda district lost her life while attempting a film for a video, marking the dangerous trend of social media addiction and creating viral reels that have gained popularity over recent years.

The incident happened when 27-year-old Mohini attempted to create a reel for herself.

Family members told NDTV that she was trying to create a hanging scene.

It is still not clear whether she slipped or lost balance, leading to the tragedy.

The incident came to light after the victim's daughter entered the room.
