India, Oct. 26 -- TP-Link India, a global provider of networking hardware and accessories, plans to establish its largest factory in India to expand local manufacturing, according to company officials.
Bijoy Alaylo, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TP-Link India, told The Economic Times that the move is part of the company's five-year plan.
The company is in talks with three state governments to finalise a site for the project, which could involve an investment of over Rs 100 crore.
Currently, TP-Link has manufacturing facilities in Brazil and Vietnam. The proposed Indian plant would be its third global factory.
Alaylo added that while the investment is likely to be around Rs 100 crore, the final amount has not yet been decided.
