Kolkata/IBNS, May 30 -- True to the expectation, Tirthapati Institution "A" along with P M Shri Academy from Jamshedpur and Ballygunge Siksha Sadan held the centre stage winning a gold each on the penultimate day of the All India Invitation Inter School Rowing Championship being organised by Lake Club at its course in Rabindra Sarobar here Friday.

In the finals, Tirthapati "A" represented by Roudra Kiran Das and Anubhav Karmakar defeated compatriots Tirthapati "B" to make a 1-2 podium finish in junior boys double scull while in the senior boys double scull Pradip Kumat Mahato and Sukhlal Tudu of P M Shri Academy from Jamshedpur got the better of Khalsa High School"A" at the senior boys double scull easily.
