India, June 15 -- Indian television actress Sanchita Ugale allegedly died by suicide in Mumbai on Sunday, according to media reports, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry.

She was 30.

Sanchita was known for her roles in popular television serials, including Kumkum Bhagya, Sajan Ghar and Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi.

The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, and an investigation is underway.

Apart from television, Sanchita also appeared in the film Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, in which she played the role of Tarabai.
