India, Aug. 24 -- Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), one of India's leading renewable energy companies and a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited (Tata Power), has commissioned its 190.5 MW Solar FDRE project at Kalasar, Bikaner, Rajasthan which is under the contractual capacity of 460 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) Project.

The 190.5 MW project has been developed under SJVN FDRE Tranche-1. The project will supply energy to HPPC, MSEDCL and NPCL discoms.

The project marks another significant milestone in India's clean energy journey by integrating large-scale solar generation with advanced energy storage and grid support technologies to deliver reliable, dispatchable renewable power.
