Mumbai/IBNS, April 27 -- Shares of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries surged over 7% on Monday after the drug major announced the acquisition of US-based global healthcare firm Organon & Co. in one of the largest overseas deals by an Indian company.
$11.75 Billion All-Cash Deal
Sun Pharma will acquire all outstanding shares of Organon at $14 per share in an all-cash transaction, valuing the deal at an enterprise value of $11.75 billion.
