India, Oct. 15 -- Sri Lankan PM Harini Aamarasuriya will visit India for her maiden trip to the neighbouring nation since taking charge of the office on October 16.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs website, she will discuss bilateral issues of mutual interest with Indian politicians during her three-day visit.

During the visit, Sri Lankan PM will deliver the keynote address at the 'NDTV World Summit' organized by NDTV and Chintan Research Foundation in Delhi.

"The PM of Sri Lanka, a distinguished alumna of the Hindu College of Delhi University, will also visit her alma mater," MEA said in the statement.

In addition, she will participate in a business event to strengthen commercial linkages between the countries.
