India, Oct. 29 -- In an unprecedented case that has shaken the Madhya Pradesh Police Department, a senior woman officer has been accused of theft.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kalpana Raghuvanshi, posted at the Police Headquarters in Bhopal, faces allegations of stealing Rs 2 lakh in cash and a mobile phone from the home of a friend, media reports said.

The incident reportedly occurred in the Jahangirabad police station area, raising serious concerns about integrity and accountability within the state police force.

When the woman returned, both the money and the phone were missing. CCTV footage reportedly captured Raghuvanshi entering and leaving the house, holding a bundle of currency notes.
