Mumbai/IBNS, Aug. 27 -- Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and six Hyundai officials have been named in a First Information Report (FIR) filed over a complaint lodged by a customer, who claimed he was delivered a defective car, media reports said.

Kirti Singh, an advocate from Bharatpur in Rajasthan, bought a Hyundai Alcazar car in 2022 from Malwa Auto Sales Pvt. Ltd. in Sonipat, The Times of India said.

Singh, who bought the car with an advanced payment of Rs. 51,000 and the rest of the money was loaned, claimed he started facing technical problems soon after the purchase.

Singh said despite reporting the problems to the company, he was offered no help.
