India, Oct. 8 -- Senior IPS officer from Haryana, Y Puran Kumar, who died by suicide at his Sector 11 residence in Chandigarh after allegedly shooting himself with his service revolver, has left an eight-page note accusing 10 senior officers of "mental harassment" and conspiring to destroy his professional career, media reports said.

According to police, Kumar's body was discovered in the basement of his house by his daughter on Tuesday morning.

The note, written in his own handwriting, details prolonged psychological pressure and alleged victimisation by his superiors.
