Mumbai/IBNS, Oct. 21 -- The firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff on Sunday was initially intended to target superstar Salman Khan, a probe into the alleged assassination bid has revealed.

The shooters, who were in touch with the handlers allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, reportedly altered their plan after finding extensive security arrangements outside Salman's Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai.

Investigators are probing the circumstances surrounding the incident and the alleged plot, the report said.

His driver sustained a gunshot injury, while another person was also reportedly injured in the incident.
