India, Feb. 11 -- Several prominent figures from the Hindi film industry, including Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn, have come forward to support actor Rajpal Yadav after he surrendered at Tihar Jail on February 5 in connection with a decade-old Rs 9-crore cheque bounce case.
Rajpal Yadav surrendered after the Delhi High Court rejected his last-minute plea seeking more time to repay dues linked to his 2010 directorial venture, Ata Pata Laapata.
Confirming the support, Rajpal Yadav's manager Goldie told The Indian Express that multiple members of the film fraternity had reached out to offer financial assistance.
