India, Aug. 17 -- Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Saturday spoke to his British counterpart David Lammy over the telephone when they discussed the ongoing developments around the Ukraine conflict.
The two leaders interacted at a time when US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Alaska to discuss the Ukraine conflict, though the meeting failed to yield any concrete solution.
Meanwhile, the Indian government welcomed the meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Alaska and appreciated the progress attained in the meeting.
