India, May 11 -- Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Tim David has been fined by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after making an "obscene, offensive or insulting" gesture during his team's IPL clash against the Mumbai Indians.

The incident occurred during a high-pressure match in which the Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated the Mumbai Indians in a last-ball thriller.
