Gandhinagar/IBNS, Oct. 17 -- Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja's wife Rivaba Jadeja has featured in the Gujarat council of ministers as Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel's team underwent a major reshuffle on Friday, media reports said.

Along with Rivaba, 24 other ministers took oath in the state capital.

All Gujarat ministers except CM Patel on Thursday resigned for the reshuffle, which is viewed as a strategic reset ahead of the local body polls and next assembly elections in 2027.

The ministers were sworn in by Governor Acharya Devvrat.

The new council of ministers included six outgoing ministers and 19 new faces including Rivaba.

State Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister.
