India, March 7 -- Actor Ranveer Singh ended the year with an unexpected bang after his spy thriller Dhurandhar set the box office on fire in December and emerged as one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of the year.

The excitement intensified on March 7 when the makers dropped the much-anticipated trailer of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, popularly referred to as Dhurandhar 2, igniting massive buzz among movie enthusiasts.

The three-minute-25-second trailer promises a bigger and more explosive sequel. In the film, Ranveer Singh appears to take control of Pakistan's Lyari town following the death of Rehman Dakait, a character portrayed by Akshaye Khanna.
