New Delhi/IBNS, July 21 -- In a bid to corner the Narendra Modi government, top Congress leaders on Tuesday marched towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence, a day after Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protesters were lathicharged by police during a Parliament march.

Led by Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress workers gathered outside party president Mallikarjun Kharge's residence before marching towards the Prime Minister's official residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg.

Camping outside the Prime Minister's residence with several party workers, Rahul Gandhi demanded answers from Modi over the police action against the protesters.
