Bengaluru/IBNS, July 11 -- A Bengaluru court has granted bail to actor Prakash Raj in connection with allegations that he was registered as a voter in multiple states during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, according to media reports.

Raj is accused of omitting details of his alleged multiple voter registrations from his official election affidavit.

Court Grants Bail With Conditions

The actor appeared before the court voluntarily on Friday after it had issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against him.

According to his counsel, Nagarjuna, the warrant could not be served as Raj had not received the court summons.
