PM Modi meets Philippines President Marcos, India-Philippines ties get major push
India, Sept. 13 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in New Delhi on Sunday on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit, with the two leaders expressing satisfaction over the progress made in bilateral cooperation across various areas and agreeing to further deepen and expand collaboration.
The two sides discussed expanding cooperation in several key areas, including defence and security, trade and investment, space, railway infrastructure, fintech, education, tourism, science and technology, innovation and people-to-people ties.
