India, Aug. 2 -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged the country's youth to stay away from drugs, saying a developed India requires a physically fit, mentally strong and self-confident younger generation free from addiction.

He made the remarks while launching the 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan', a nationwide campaign aimed at preventing substance abuse among young people.
