Bengaluru/IBNS, Sept. 3 -- An IndiGo flight travelling from Doha to Bengaluru was diverted to Muscat on Thursday after the pilot felt unwell and sought medical assistance, media reports said.

The pilot was subsequently taken to a hospital and is now reported to be fine.

The airline has arranged an alternate flight to carry the passengers from Doha to Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, passengers at Muscat were provided refreshments and kept updated with necessary information while arrangements were being made for their onward journey.

IndiGo apologised for the inconvenience caused to passengers and reiterated that safety remains its top priority.
