India, Oct. 2 -- Residents of Bhag city in Pakistan observed a shutdown strike recently following a call by the All Parties Action Committee to protest the deteriorating law and order situation, marked by increasing incidents of theft, highway robberies, street crime and looting, media reports said.

Political, social and tribal leaders, traders, transporters and people from various sections of society participated in the protest, expressing concern over the worsening security situation in the city.

Leaders of the All Parties Action Committee, including Mama Abdul Sattar Bangulzai and Rais Allah Ditta, along with representatives of political parties, led the demonstration and addressed the protesters, Dawn News reported.
