India, May 24 -- OpenAI is offering a salary of up to $445,000 (around Rs 3.7 crore) for a specialised safety researcher role focused on addressing growing concerns around advanced artificial intelligence systems that could eventually improve themselves.

The company, which is reportedly preparing for a public listing later this year, recently posted a job opening seeking a safety researcher to examine the risks associated with AI systems capable of training increasingly advanced versions of themselves, according to a report by Business Insider.
