India, Sept. 18 -- Noida's international airport, also known as Jewar airport, will be inaugurated on October 30, Union Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu announced on Tuesday.
Within 45 days of the inauguration, flight services to 10 major cities, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata, will begin.
Discussions have already been held with IndiGo and Air India Express to launch operations, the minister said.
In July, airport authorities issued an advisory to builders, local authorities, and other stakeholders to adhere to height restrictions within a 20 km radius of the airport.
The expansion plan includes enlarging the parking area.
