India, April 21 -- The opening of Gangotri Temple and Yamunotri Temple on April 19 marked the commencement of the 2026 Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand. This year, authorities have introduced a strict ban on the use of mobile phones within the premises of Kedarnath Temple.

  The doors of Kedarnath Temple and Badrinath Temple are scheduled to open on April 22 and April 23, respectively.

Meanwhile, images and videos circulating on social media show the Kedarnath Temple adorned with marigold flowers, ready to welcome devotees.
